The Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio (COHHIO) is a non-profit, 501(c) 3 organization. COHHIO originated in 1994 when the Ohio Housing Coalition merged with the Ohio Coalition for the Homeless. COHHIO's assists housing organizations and homeless service providers in Ohio through public policy advocacy, training and technical assistance, research, and public education.
COHHIO became involved in the payday lending issue in June, 2007, after it became clear that predatory payday lending was pushing our constituency into financial distress. We appreciate your support for our mission: pushing for systemic changes to benefit Ohioans in need.
